Having the same trouble..finding XBMC. I am already running the current build of EvoX, but cant seem to FIND the doggone thing. I used SID4 for the install because I couldn't FIND Krayzie's Illustrious Ndure. Now Im just lost on the XBMC-thing. I downloaded the above-linked RAR file hoping that will make 1 less step 4 anyone interested in helping. Thank you in advance.

 

P.S.Also:

For anyone intersted in helping, here, thought I'd include a lil' more info. Im running the latest build of EvoX as my default dash. MAKING it the default is the ONLY thing I have actually changed using the softmod. Used the "Dual-boot/Open-tray" option if you are familiar. Nothing else has been done. PLEASE HELP before I become one of the lucky owners of the feared "XBOX Paperweight" because I messed something up! Glad to provide my e-mail address to anyone interested in helping. you can dwl the latest build from just about any torrent site, the latest tech3 build is 6-18-06 and there is a new Beta MC360 skin as well. just completely delete the old XBMC in your E:/apps folder then FTP over the new build. If you decide to dwl and use the new MC360 skin the you just add the skin in the E:/apps/XBMC/skins folder.

 

Thx for the tip shade! But still got 1 more for ya': I HAVE an ethernet card (3com) but it crashes my S*** every time I try installing the drivers. I have both manuf. driver discs, so, that one REALLY stumps me. Unless you know anything about specific DSL modems. Cant I use my Westell WirespeedB90 as a router and just FTP that way? The modem, as Im sure you are well aware, has USB and Ethernet links. Everything is functional, as, I was on LIVE until i decided to softmod. Have I lost you and myself? Well, thank you again!

 

hi, ive got a bit of a problem with XBMC. right, ive send sleepless nites work out how the ftp from a pc to a xbox dashboard (evox) and ive got that to work and im happy with that(i can tranfer stuff as well). now heres the problem, when i open up XBMC and put in the same ip addys and ever thing else that i had on the dashboard set up, but it say it cant connect

(using FlashFXP)

[R]connecting to 192.168.0.3-> IP=192.168.0.3 PORT =21 (attempt #1)
[R]connected to 192.168.0.3
[R]connection failed (Connection lost)

wat does it mean and could anyone help me with it.
