Nope a pic from Nero 6.6.0.18.

Nero 7 looks the same too though.

Run the clean tool also when installing Nero 6 then installing Nero 7.
    Here's a link.

Might also want to run a registry cleaner like this good free one - ccleaner. Cleans up alot of the leftovers. Use the cleaner & issues options.

    Hey,

i won't be able to use this forum much until the weekend because school is really demanding.

i haven't found a way to make the burner work yet, i had to uninstall nero 7 because the "nero scout" thing is really annoying and when i try to hide it or deactivate it, it just comes straight back seconds later.

i might have to get a new external burner, what type of external burner would you suggest? how much does it cost?

    Regards,

    Rgiles

Yeah school can be demanding - it does come 1st though.

Might just be you're easiest solution to get an external.

I'd recommend LiteOn - if you're in the US check newegg.
    Here's some models and links:
    SHM-165P6S
    SHW-160P6S
I have the SHW-160P6S and use it w/ a few pc's & my laptop. Good drive so far.

When you install Nero - do a custom install and leave Scout. It is a pain & resource hog!

    You're welcome Rgiles :)

In the mean time might just want to pick up some other blanks. Worst case they fail and just use them w/ the new external when you get it.
I'd look for 8x media for this drive.
Check out supermediastore for good deals on Taiyo Yuden - the best.
