ilo dvdr04 disc

    i have the ilo dvdr04 and installed the firmware
    it says invalid disc when i put in a new dvdr is there a certain brand that it needs or what or im i just doing something wrong
    it read all my movies and the burnt movies i have

    thanks i went and got those but now it will not finalize a dvd any suggestions please help getting pissed wanna break it

    hmm , it's hard to know what to suggest ... I take it you've looked through the manual to see about formatting settings that might possibly need changing (??)

    I have a Cyberhome DVR 1600 myself & it doesnt like cheap media , but on the box it says it can only burn +R(W) format ... had great success w/ Verbatim (Taiyo Yuden dye) DVD-R !! (so go figure - lol)

    All I can suggest is you look for users that have specific knowledge of the same recorder (perhaps e-mail or call the manufacturer or seller)
