ok i looked at a few of the first replys i couldnt find my question ill ask
sorry if some one as allready asked

ok on halo 2 moding

1) do i have to copy the game to the hard drive?
2) can i change the colors of stuff like warhogs,ghost,tanks etc
3) can i change the color of weapons
4) can i make new maps?
5) can i edit a map
6) finally is it easy to do and what do i need?

ok i am not such a " noob" at modding but i have had a problem with modding the new maps like gemini and crap. how do i make it so halo 2 willl load it without a prob. i fix encryption. the only way i know how to get new maps to load modded is to use map converter pro and make it and old map like midship. it will load once i convert its id to midship or whatever but is there a way to keep all my maps and still have new modded maps???

hey im trying to mod my xbox and im getting the same action rename problem i created a profile on halo 2 but im still getting the code
also i am getting code 21 w/ christmas lights and having trouble to get any games to play like halo 2 b/c i didnt register my account on xbox live do i need to do that? im fusking lost any help would be greatly appreciated

 

i was wondering if there was a way to make it so host could fly turrets not just none host?

anyways here it is

how can you make a halo map from nothing
like make the whole 3d world your self?

 

you can clear out everything in a map and completely remake it yourself, then add it to the mainmenu as a new map. that's as close as you're gonna get

 

how do you rebuild the whole 3d level then?
like i have studd like light wave and 3d max 8

ive got a wierd prob. I want to get the original halo 2 maps, so i go into my evo-x dash, turn off auto run games, save changes, reboot go to xbox live dash, wait about 15 seconds, pop in halo2, and... it runs as though i never turned off auto run. what could be the problem???

did you say that you go to the microsoft dashboard, if so the settings won't matter on evox.

use milkshape instead of 3d max because milkshape was made for Halo 2. Here is a link: http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/. I wouldn't know how to remake levels, that's really advanced modding there.

should i just reboot the game then go to evo-x and eject the disc? cuz when i press eject it turns off...
