sorry dothalo, i've been running around the internet so long i forget to say some things

 

does the program open cause does it say when you try and open the map that you have an error because it might have been something youve done to that map try a fresh map because thats what use to happen to me

 

Okay I have asked this a gazillion times and no one knows the answer. I have installed the krayzies UXE softmod. When I try to log in to live with the softmod on I get the error 21, but when I turn the mod off I can log in but my modded maps won't work. My next question is what is the best softmod to use to where I can play on live (custom) and still use my new maps? I have a banned account I play with all my friends on. So don't jump to the conclusion that I am cheating. I need some answers and help here. Thans in advance.

 

hi i have a soft modded x box and am trying to copy the halo 2 maps onto my hard drive. i use a modded dashboard called evox. i go to applications then i click copy cdr to hdd. i think that means copy a game disk to you hardrive. when i click that botton it automatically says 100% and doesnt copy any files!

What am i doing wrong...plz help!

that was some good info but htats not what i wanted. i am trying to do the killtrocity map pack. i need to copy the files onto my hardrive so it shows up when i ftp. but when i try to copy the halo 2 disk it automatically goes to 100% and does not copy one file.

p.s. once i have copy the halo2 map files to my hard drive can you help me on were to find them...like what folder

Well I'm saying that in my tutorial, I'm showing you how to bring the game to your hardrive while taking the least space possible. Just do the same thing except put the killtrocity maps instead of the normal maps. You should put it in E\Games.

and if its an iso just Burn an image using nero and burn it at x4 then into your xbox

ok , i have been using the halo 2 modding program insolence and i was wondering if you could use it in campain. like changing the enemy's skin (elites into flood),level's structures,level's scenery (like fog)?? etc...just like multiplayer.
since people on here actually know how and what there doing.

 

nerd. i had the same problem. try hooking up the card and the usb conector before u start up the software. and tell me what happens next.

and for zaran - Insolence is probably the oldest modding progam ever - use Entity (its like every modding program in one) - http://haloplugins.com/index2.php?view=entity

*And if you want to transfer something from one map to another (so much faster) Here are the steps

1. Open your map
2. Click on what you want to transfer to the other map
3. Check the recursive and parsed boxes at the top right
4. Click Save
5. Make a new folder (FOR EVERYTHING YOU SAVE)
6. Double-click on the folder you made and hit ok
7. Open the other map
8. Click Build at the bottom right
9. Find your folder you made
10. Double click on it
11. Double click on the .info file and it will be in your map

{Yes, I know it seems like alot of steps, but I remember trying to get a biped into my map thru insolence and it took literally 5 minutes. This takes literally about 30 seconds!}

the best site to find halo 2 mods are at http://files.halomods.com

At that site, they use .sppf's and .serenity's

And if you are wondering why they use those , if a map has really good mods on it, you cant make a ppf. So, you have to make a sppf or a serenity patch. There are links to the downloads on that site.

 

ok i see a mod i want to dl. it is a sppf. how do i make it a ppf? what am i supposed to do now?

thanks DrXthirst!but on insolence i saw on master chief in the objects folder (i think). and it listed the sides and he was on which was PLAYER. but there were others, FLOOD,COVENANT,NEW COVENANT,FORRUNNERS and HUMANS. im taking it you can make the player on certain alliances. Entity can do that right ? bcuz it looks just like insolence. if so is that what that stuff is ?
