I'm assuming you are trying to play a DVD? You need the DVD player addon, or my recommendation is XBMC! XBMC is the sole reason I have an Xbox!

you get media center at the "usual places"

there is also a program called dongle free dvd. once you aquire either of these you need to ftp them to your xbox.

The easiest and safest way is to use AID v4.0, do a torrent search or the likes!

agree, and auto installer like Auto Installer deluxe (AID) is the easiest. I personally like XBMC but my default player is DVD RegionX which will also be on AID.

XBMC now has full DVD playback functions. No need to use DVD Region X anymore! ;)
