image cut off when converting avi to dvd

    Hey guys when i use nero vision 4 to convert my avi to dvd i am geting the edges of my images cutoff. almost like it is zooming in on the image. it is anoying becuase i cant read the subtitles. can any one help me or suggest another program

    It's called overscan, if you have burned in subs they were put there without regard to a TV's 'Safe Zone'. If they are a separate file (.srt etc) a program like ConvertXtoDVD will allow you to change the position/size/font/color.

    Using SuperĀ© you could use the 'border' function to add a band/border of a few pixels around the vid when converting to compensate for the TV's overscan (fairly easy). Or look here:
