I am running a G4 Notebook/ 1gb/1.33ghz/17inch osx update 10.3.4. I was having good results with DVD Backup 1.3 & DVD2oneX1.3 to toast 6 using 1x & 4x Shintaro discs. I tried Shintao 2x by error and since playing back burns on ext dvd to tv is flawed with dragging images every 5-7 minutes. Im new and now think either media choice... Toast needs upgrade or I should call a priest... Help or ideas appreciated...
Those are the risks you face when you use cheap media. Stick to high quality media like Maxell, Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, TDK or Ritek. The best compromise between quality and price is found in RIDATA and TRAXDATA discs by Ritek.
thank you - I was only using cheap media until I got the hang of it as I was led to believe you can get things wrong and make alot of coasters. I thought it might be software glitch with 3rd party not working with 10,3.4 update. It was working great till I upgraded.
