Hi to everyone....if there is anyone that can help with this matter, I will be very very grateful. I am very new to burning and I followed the guide on this site faithfully (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/422740) to the letter. I got all the way to final step and then ImgBurn refused to burn the copy. It came up with the message "device not ready (medium not present - tray closed)" The green arrow will not light and I am really stuck....Can someone please please help?

You start Imgburn, put the disk in the burner and it is not recognized (the green arrow is grey?)

Tools > Drive > Capabilities to verify that it sees the drive, then press the 'Check Firmware Update' button.

    Did you do that?
Try a CD in the drive.

You put the CD in the drive and the button turns green?

Your original post indicated that you were trying to burn a DVD.
The point of "Tools > Drive > Capabilities" is to find out if you have a DVD burner.
The 'capabilities' should indicate the types of DVD that it can read or write.
