I am getting this message constantly when trying to use imgburn it comes up during the burning so the disc is screwed afterwards. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. I have tried: Different discs Uninstalling and re-installing both imgburn and dvd shrink Using dvdfab first then shrink
Yeah I burnt some data to a disc fine and I also tried to burn a movie onto a DVD+RW and it worked fine.
If it consistently burns ok to the DVD+RW, then I doubt the burner is the problem - except perhaps the firmware not being up to date. I know that you tried other disks that failed, but until you try a known-to-be-consistently-reliable disk, like 'Verbatim' or 'Taiyo Yuden' you can't rule out the chance that it's a media problem.
I have used about 150 of each of these brand and none failed until this time. I normally use Sony with no problems but occasionally I will use this brand called Memorex and it has worked fine also. So when the Sony pile wasnt working I bought another lot of Memorex to have the same problem. What could the chances of me getting 2 bad bundles be? Knowing my luck probably high.
