Had you considered i/we already turn a blind eye, and far too often as it is ??.. And there's nothing else i can add. I too come here to relax but we can't please all of the people all of the time so i will cease my boring comments
oh go on bore us a little lol ok thats the last of it promise thanks for the bantere ill leave you be to be more constructive
*Yawn* The odd comment isn't unwelcome, but it never ends once it starts as it seems. No one has brought the entire concept of off topic onto your shoulders to defend...it just happens that you are here pleading your case eh? I/We do overlook a lot of things that include more than simple off topic banter. The limiting of off topic posts is necessary in many cases in order to keep the post padders from rising in the ranks to addict status in a matter of weeks. Unfortunately AD's autopromote system is based solely on the number of posts a member has and not on merit and it is taken advantage of. Some people see it as a symbol of status and others simply don't care what their title is. Status means nothing, but there are still some who think if they can get those posts in to rise in ranks they somehow look better to everyone else. Anywho, it's right there in the rules...but who is going to start a new thread asking how someone else is doing? It would certainly be closed swiftly. It's just fact that once it begins you end up with a half a page or better with nonsensicle posts ranging from "what's for dinner" to "my dogs pregnant again" and the OP is scratching their head wondering what the hell is going on. Like we said, keep it to a minimum and it will be overlooked, but excess draws leering eyes
All I gotta say is this whole thread is a mess... http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/587333/3550212

I did see that username. If it was more offensive it'd have been got rid of by now, shall await feedback as to whether that one is offensive or not..
