    @Phantom69
    It really wouldn't be a problem for me. I do that kind of thing all the time. And yea, dial-up really sucks.

    @PeaInAPod
    It's kind of a Catch-22 here in Nevada. You can buy them around the 4th. In fact, they set up stands at the local 7-11's selling them! But you can not set them off within the city limits without a permit. This isn't highly inforced, however, unless something happens. Then they hit you with doing it without the proper permits.

    I grew up in Philadelphia. Way back when I was a kid, you couldn't get fireworks. My parents used to take vacation trips to Canada every year (where fireworks are/were legal). We'd buy a bunch and then set them off at my Uncle's farm on the way back. One year, I kept some for me and my friends. We lived on the outskirts of the city and it wasn't very developed then. One day, me, my friend and my dog went to a large empty area. We started setting off the fireworks and wouldn't you know it, here comes the cops. I took all the blame so they let my friend go. I wouldn't go anywhere without my dog and they wouldn't let me give him to my friend. Instead of taking me and my dog home and telling my parents, they took us to the police station! They called my parents and my dad had to come get us. They told him that I was picked up and charged with carrying a deadly weapon! To wrap this story up, I didn't really get into any trouble. Just told not to do it again. But my dog ended up with a police record!!

    Yeah were I live in Illinois its a equal distance from Wisconsin and Indiana. And the fireworks in wisconsin suck big time! lol so for the past two years me and my cousin have driven just over the illinois/indiana border and they have a warehouse called "Krazy Kaplains Fireworks" and man do those things rock!! This year we drove down on the 4th and got like $800 dollars worth of fireworks for $350. We figured their really trying to sell the stuff because tomorrow (july 5) no one will really buy their stuff anymore. But yeah so we went out in the open and setup this metal bench we used for welding. Put on a set of safety glasses and lit them. Must have lasted for a good 30-45mins. Beat everyone out in the neighborhood.

    While our family was watching I ran out to my car and threw on a blackshirt with some pins and stuff and got out my flashlight,which looks like the ones the cops carry, walked around the back of the house and went HEY!! Man half the family jumped out of their skin!! I was laughin so bad! lol but anyways yeah the 4th was awesome.

    Well I assume that that means your job is going good. The pc repair market here in illinois is growing. 3 pcs for me in 5 days! And i dont even advertise its all by word of mouth. The recommendation from a customer is the best advertising you can have - PeaInAPod 12:52 AM 7-7-06 (lol)

    Actually, I'm disabled. I'm leaglly blind. Been busy with the family. When I was working, word of mouth is the best. I agree! Glad things are picking up for you. Hope you don't get to the point where you have more to do than you can handle.

    Side Note: As of Midnight on the 4th of July, fireworks became illeagal in my county. I think the police are really going to have their hands full inforcing this new law.

    The displays that the casinos do will still be around. They're just going to ban the private citizen from having them.

    Its a real shame. If people are responsible enough and use their brains fireworks can be a blast. Worldcups tomorrow!!

    That is the problem. To many adults let kids get ahold of them and then you can guess the outcome.
