I still do not have chs, do you reckon I need to do a factory reset then?

If frequencys have changed does that mean I cannot use my ch dump and will have to create another 1?

If freq have changed and u have lost most of your channels then u will need to factory reset and rescan in .
But u are better off manual scanning for the channels if u are only missing one or two

Yep seen that Dobby as the Eurovoxs and Dboxs came back also with no need to change frequencies. It seemed to be just a problem in pure alright.

Its for converting old channel dump files to be used on the Box using new firmware 4.52 and 4.53.

4.53 is the latest for both the UK and Ireland you need to load 4.52 first and you can only use the latest Gtromloader which is Version 4.03.

Mind you it is still a bit buggy so I would stick with what you have for now.

Kmac if you think you have problems now if you use the new firmware you will be worse off keep what you have on at present until all the bugs are sorted as scouser said it is full of bugs and your box will be worse off

i still use the old 257 firmware i do have a clone but its very rare i get any probs until the key changes piture is always stable apart from loosing odd channel
but with reading post i think we all get that yes i do have to manually in put keys but it takes less than a minute it would be nice not to input keys but they seem to be 2 or 3 key changes then nothing for 3 months i can cope with that
(untill my box blows up) i know theres a self updating 257 but with some crap thats been going about and destroying boxes
i am going to stick with what ive got
i have seen on many forums with people see a new peace of software out there and put it on and all they have is probs
if its not broke do not try to mend it is my moto

Martin i have it on my clone and it works perfect and has done now for months so there is no reason to think it will do any harm to your box put it on and save some time putting in the codes ok
