    Hi just wondering is anyone having problems with stations cracking up on their sv box. over the last week at times when your watching channels they are scrambling and a loud scratchy nice coming from channels and then they come back fine this started about a week ago and seems to be getting more frequent. I have version 4.00e on box any help.

    Hi Anto, yep it is happening all over Dublin on all boxes including subbed ones it is N** at work once more :) This has been going on for almost two weeks.

    its the same with n t hell's box. terrible at the moment. have to up and down to fix it.

    i have just got the starview2 the null modem cable has two female ends.i need a male end to fit my laptop do i need an adaptor or is there such a cable

    is anybody online i need a bit of help just got 2 boxes delivered one of which has a piece floating around inside its about 1 inch square silver with 12 long bits sticking up (heat sink)? is it ok to stick it back on with a bit of superglue or do i need something specially for electrical jobs?

    Rich mate you dont need it just take it out and your box will be fine ok

    I had 2 the same i said it to supplier he said to take out as they are not really needed as they are not on euro either

    i'm not electrically minded i only guessed it was a heatsink cos his feabay feedback had one that said heatsink was loose what is a heatsink i'm guessing again that its some sort of heat attracter to keep the heat away from all the other electrical components inside to protect them from damage?
