does he have a little black box at the back of his tv with 2 cables in it this is the down converter if he does not have this he will have a problem as some of the old ariels have the down converter built into the subbed box tell me is the subbed box a big one and has a silver back on it with 2 wires going into it if so none of the boxes will work until he gets a down converter for it

First thing do not use cap locks ok

Second that box will not work on that MMDS connection as you need a DVB-C box for N** the box you purchased is DVB-T and is only for the C***** network

You will have to see if your supplier will exchange it for you

    MAIN PAGE UPDATED

Please consider updating to the auto roll firmware
Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please

    Also

You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F.

    Null Modem Cable

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=L71BT&DOY=2m6

If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

    USB Adapter

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Modu...erial Adaptor

These two cable links are only for reference as they can be purchased alot cheaper on fleabay.

All firmware/loader can be found in the link at the end of my post marked Eamos Library.

You will need the GTromloader, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link.

You will need version 2.57_FIXED firmware for CLONES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.

OR V.400 FOR A GENUINE BOX

    18 VENTS CLONE

My advice stay away from the eurovox to many problems with them at the present time either get yourself a Starview Super or the Kryptview arnet ok
