Info regarding sound or other queries within (NO CODE REQUESTS/code POSTING)

hi all, i have a clone st*rview box with 257e fixed firmware loaded with all channels working, just that some freeze now and again for a few seconds, is there a fix for this. thanks

 

its been like that since last week, new firmware on its way we,ve been told, meanwhile its the old reliable manual input

 

I have both starview and eurovox and both are down in the midlands.

Any ideas or solutions guys ?

Hi Guys, I live in West yorkshire (tellypest area) and have got a Sagem dbox2 which has stopped working today.

Does anyone know of any keys which will bring back my channels and also how to enter them? I'd appreciate any feedback, thanks in advance.

It's just not fair being expected to make-do with freeview channels! (

 

Hey guys, N*L UK codes updated at 20:20hrs on the codes page are now working for me. Thanks guys!

 

Now then,my gen starview with version 4 was doing the update thing but i found that one digit was out on the 01 line of codes,no idea why it didn,t auto update this,but ok now anyway.what firmware is on the way?
i keep losing channels now like bbc1 whats going on anybody know?

 

im using eurovox max provider telewest im in northwest what codes do i need to put in

 

I guess its a major problem this time as nobody sems to have the codes to fix it and it seems to be on all boxes.

Anyone got it sorted yet ?

 

How do you enter the codes on an ntl pace box?

Im new to this so not got a clue, im in glasgow if that helps!

 

Hi, Just signed up to this forum tonight having had my box go down this evening. I have got an original starview box with v4.0 firmware.

I tapped in the following keys and all the channels are working fine at the moment. These are for the n*l area:

Key 0 = F5 70 E3 AD 3F 2D F8 F4

Key 1 = B4 E2 02 E7 17 01 79 BC

must be a firmware problem on star***w box

I use a s/w box also a digivox
both show same keys
digivox is working ok after updating itself however s/v box keeps on updating

west mids area

looks like a job for the high tech guys with all the brains )

 

Hi there my 1st gen starview is now working fine in the midlands on tel*west.

Problem was an incorrect letter which was on the codes page.

The key roll code in red is the incorrect one. The one letter changed shown in bold and all channels instantly came on without even the updating dialog appearing! Worked for me should work for others.

 

Thanks Malc01, your codes worked for me in Fife Scotland - Telepest. I have original SV too and it should have auto-rolled but that's probably run it's course and we all need a new one. I expect we'll get the answers on this site within the next few days.

you must be in a different area to me because my codes are different to yours, mine is NT*

as i said previously it must firmware needs updating because my digivox is working ok with the same codes as the s/v box

 

well well would you believe it, i have just tried my s/v again and it updated ok
it must be naughty gremlins at work :0)

Just joined the forum today. I used the keys for N*L UK and it worked for me last night so thanks to everyone for that. I wanted to get some info on upgrading my software. I have a starview v 4.08 (june 2007) i think but will have to confirm this.
Also how many months does the key work?
