hi there guys just thought you would like to know that downloaded the Crptstar-v file and it worked fine. i done this about 10.00am toady it is now nearly 18.00pm and still working. so i would like to thank all concern for all your help.

Mine has worked as well in the west mids area for some time after
downloading the Crptstar-v file no problems what-so-ever 8 hours now )

 

the new firmware CryptStar-v1.4-GenuineOnly is for genuine boxes only but as mine is a clone and has a problem with freezing, i tried it and it works and auto updates, I only tried it because i am going for a new box so this was a test for all you out there with a clone. been fine for a couple of hours now

hi all i know how to update the firmware on the starview boxes so is the fix done the same way or do i have to do it differently
