    i have a starview original, a clone and sv2 (the box) just wondering what the craic is with sv3... does it have all the smae functions, does it autoroll in dublin... that kinda thing just some of the mates were looking and i suggested the sv2 but cant seem to get it anywhere but fleabaY!!!!

    Yes it is the same autorolls in all areas only difference is it puts all the channels in categories for you so no need for setting up fav they use the same subbed numbers as original boxes quiet good boxes not many of the old starview 2 box around now hope this helps

    I have the sv3 the box super its au on N*L dublin, the epg i find brilliant as i have a sv1 also and the epg is crap on this,

    working hard ive been was a student when i was on this all the time!!!! hard working in the real world now...

    Meant to ask also i have an original starwiew that wont pick up any channels when i scan it... have 400e.E June 2007 on it...

    you will need the crypstar v1.4genuine which can be found in the starview folder in eamo's library

    yeah i just flashed the sv1 with that firmware and it goes through the motions... and it looks like it's finding stations as in it goes red across where it should find channels but where the list of channels and radio stations would be on the screen there is nothing and when it finishes scanning it just says 0 channels found.... anybody got ideas???

    just had a look at the firmware version and it hasn't changed just did it twice more there and no joy!!! hmmm noodle scratcher!!!

    Did you do a factory reset prior to downloading? also try the default, and dont forget the provider (check its yours) and also the old EMU turn on!! youve done this a hundred times before the brain is just slowing down!!LOL

    nope still not flashing for me!!!! have to head out for a bit... will be back if anybody has any bright ideas.... it seems to not like me!! And the emu is on.. i pressed set default key.. provider is correct!! dunno really nice doorstop!!

    and the name of the firmware dosn't change when you flash it still says v4.00 instead of v1.4cryptstar chap forgot or didnt have time to rename it
