    Depending on which starview 3 you have if you have the new one with the extra tv output you will need the v7.09 if you have the earlier model you will need the v6.01

    none use v8.00 anymore that has been dumped for the v7.09

    Hi all very long time no talk, Ferg how'd you get on in asia its the place to be pal?

    Anyway was asked there by a friend of mine the other day about the ddigital box he bought one and he said when he uploaded the new software the screen went green and now it just will not switch on. I realise this is the starview area but it doesn't seem to be a very popular box "wonder why". Any help at all on this would be much obliged!

    ok first dont know anything about them boxes myself so cant help you on that score

    on the asia trip yes a holiday you would not forget should try it plenty to do as you will see if you go

    anybody had any problems with the box super where the majority of the channels dissapear and your just left with a selection of about 50 channels togaether for example 101-156? it happens to me reguarly all i need to do is switch power off at the back and straight back on again and its fixed just wondered if anybody else had this issue?

    hmmm strange i've had all the different firmware's available and they all do it but it always autorolls so not really a problem

    yeah the box used to annoy me too much channel sorting needed thats why i prefer the supers and there cheap i just picked up 10 for 640

    they are to cheap aint they

    but the booting issue i have one from the first batch and i got one form the new batch and the first one boots every now and then and new one maybe the same first one had 6.00 then i put 6.01 helped it a lot other one has 7.05 so not sure what the prob really is there both tthe same

    I have the box super and it often reboots why does it do this, its not a major problem it comes straight back on but just wondering, I thought i had just got a dodgey one! It has fw. 6.00 on it.

    i believe there is new firmware v 8.0 to fix that problem anto
