there is no vcc wire for the jtag you are using try the link under my post for eko and the info should be there as well as the skymax that seems to work better

 

been asked if i could jtag a couple of boxs for a friend,made the lead but nowhere says were the c40(vcc) soldered wire goes to anybody know

 

if you made the jtag from the information shown on this site you do not use vcc wire all other information can be had by downloading the jtag stuff from the eko link at bottom of my post

 

hi all bbc1 audio only on boxes tried manual scan not found crappy signal not thru box.can anybody point me in the direction of the new freeview box hooked up to astra satelite .i need more info about channels[ 100 ] i would get

Sorry but you cannot use Starview or TheBox on satalite they only work on true cable

 

sorry what i should have said was a non euro,digi,star,box,or other.the box is made by triax.
still no picture on bbc1 audio only,starview and digivox.

 

found out later it is only a satelite receiver!!

i see my bbc1 now back in picture on both boxes what ever was going on?

 

bbc are all free to air programs and as such will come up on a satalite box as such

 

yes i know this morning i had audio only on starview and digivox on bbc1 why i dont know as i had bad pictures on*** ,later picture back on boxes! normal xclent picture and audio resumed.

 

It was an N** vid pid fault. Even their boxes lost BBC1

 

that says it all. and thanks for info.

what ebay dealer was it?and for the documentation take pics of your box and get pics of a genuine and send to them.

(Firstly go to dispute console on ebay, then click on the link that says report an item not received or not as described.
You then have to enter the article number and answer a few other questions about the transaction before you proceed to the dispute console on Pay Pal.

There you are required to make a formal complaint about the item describing what you would like resolved.
This is then sent to the seller and they then have 30 days to respond or pay pal fin#s in your favour.

I allowed the seller not to reply for 10 days at which time I then escalated my grievance to a formal claim.

The seller never got back in touch with paypal or responded to any of my emails, I also explained in my emails that I could prove that the receiver was a clone and that he knowingly sold it, as such

At the end of the 30 day period paypal found in my favour and refunded the monies into my account.

I bought my clone starview through the dealer "big zed" whom is listed in the name and shame forum and would encourage anybody whom has bought a receiver from him to follow what I have done as paypal now has records showing that he knowingly sold false goods and therefore should provide refun#s to everyone whom has purchased clone starviews from him.

I apologise for not replying sooner to this thread but hopefully someone will find th8is information helpful.)

I went through that procedure and the guy emailed paypal advising the box is genuine and so as a result paypal want me to prove it's not! How come as a seller on ebay Paypal find in other peoples favours straight away with no hassle then we I get scammed I have to do all the hard work!

They won't take anything except some kind of experts advice, I suppose I could just make something up????

but they have basically just booted the ball back to me now...

 

i got the same response from them i did not get my money back either you should tell them to look at their records about how many people have lodged claims with them over the same goods and see what they say i am going to have another go at them as well and see what happens let me know how you get on
