    not to bad how are you thought you where in hiding are your boxes still working have you sorted them out very busy here has been so quiet here lately now we are swamped

    does the box have to have the function that will auto pull down the new codes in order to keep working after a factory reset is carried out ?

    From reading some of the articles i think i have an original starview box - without the autocode function

    if that makes any sense...

    was it a code change again today..i have v4 and it didn't autoroll if it was

    1.factory settings,password 0000or master code 1668,press ok for it to delete the channels
    2.pick your language,english then press ok.
    3.now your in the main menu,press down once,you should be on user setup,press 1570.
    3.now your in the cas menu,go to emu and turn it on,exit
    4.go to installation,cable network n**,automatic scan.
    5.once its done scanning,press exit a couple of times to get back to your channels

    That happened me earlier today, turned out to be poor quality coax lead from the wallbox to the starview, get a good quality lead and it should get all the channels, something to do with the frequency shift today I think ?

    No its OK just needed to do a factory reset twice for some reason or other, very strange.

    Help - read all the requests/replies.. did my factory re-set and then my automatic scan - got all my channels back to work out I have no sound on any of them? Anyone throw any light on that? I'm still learning!!
