Where are you?

 

As Main said do a manual scan. I have seen you have done that look down to the end of your channel list you may see another Setanta 2. If not delete the one you have and do a manual scan again, as you may be missing the video pid.

still no luck
should emu be on or off when rescanning
if there anything else I should check

If you have the codes I gave you and still no luck try this:

Frequency change fix
1 Menu
2 Factory settings
3 type in code ( 0000)
4 press ok. this will delete channels. (Turn off the box from the back for 1 minute).
5 Installation
6 Change provider (Eg n*L etc)to which ever one used in your area.
7 autoscan ( when it says *** channels found , exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen)
8 Hit menu again
9 Type 1570
10 new screen appears , change EMU to on

Exit all the way out to view channels.

 

still no luck

it went down last thursday, have been away since only trying to get it back this evening.

tried it again and still the same however when i go into channel edit it says video pid 4108 anyone got any ideas

 

Cargib Double check the codes are input as per the ones I have given you and key emu is on.

 

Is this a Starview or "The Box", (Starview 2).

Sounds like a fault with N**, I am heading home so I will see if it is the same on my own box and will post the results back here.

Sometimes this happens and it comes back after a day or two.

Have doubled check codes EMU is on
Have turned box off
Have re-scanned still no channels found
because no channels found cant get back to turn emu off

 

I am heading off for the evening, can you check that all your cables are properly connected.

I will ask one of the other guys/gals over to give you a hand on this thread.
