I think it will be same loader m8 but dont quote as I havent had a sample of it yet some of the seniors or addicts in here might have it just now so I will wait till they post it as I preffer some1 else trys new firmware first to make sure it is a stable version.

 

its a starview original not starview the box which i believe should run on version 4.50 am i right

as far as I know the original box should be 4.00 as 4.50 and 4.51 is for The Box

 

ver 4.00 is for the starview orig and 4.50 is for the box a.k.a starview 2 or ver 2.57 for clones

Hi all. Friend of mine is trying to set up his starview in the swords area of dublin. He has true cable and is on the CH***S network. Does anyone know the proper procedure for the installation in that area? Thanks

I asked a question before back on page 52 53 and You were telling me that he may have to fiddle around with symbol rates, can you talk us through what to do?

 

If they have a Starview 1 they will have to do this. If they have a Starview 2 called the box with version 4.50 they wont, as the box works automatically with C*****.

For Starview 1:

You will have to input the symbol rate 6875 and manually input these frequencies:

363.000 works 371.000 works
355.500 works 347.000 works
339.500 works 386.000 works
347.500 works 394.000 works
419.000 works 410.000 works
322.000 works 347.500 works
314.000 426.000

You will then need to add these codes into the nagra screen. Menu, type 1570, press nagravision, add codes on 00 and 01 lines as below.

KEY 00 = 4B 7C D5 86 E7 01 CC 96

KEY 01 = 8E 8E 46 FD 36 28 A3 F0

Turn key emu on, (menu, type 1570 and turn on), thats it.
