you all need to stop wasting your time with this. You all have been thinking of the exact same stuff for the last 10 pages... Nobody knows what's going to happen with Halo 3 yet. Ok, this is the LAST time i am posting here. I just have to reply to IXEOS about telling me how to beat halo2 on Legendary. DUDE I ALREADY BEAT THAT GAME ON LEGENDARY AND I BET YOU DID NOT. THE TWO PLAYER COOPERATIVE MODE DOES NOT WORK, IF ONE PLAYER DIES YOU HAVE TO RESTART FROM THE CHECKPOINT, SO I DID IT WITH ONE PLAYER. SO DON'T BE TELLING ME HOUW TO BEAT THAT GAME ON LEGENDARY. YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE THE SKILLS!

well, you were the one asking for advice on how to beat it, so I was just giving you some. You were even complaining that no one had answered you. I beat Halo 1 on legendary by myself, but I haven't even *tried* to beat it on Halo 2, some of us actually have to work and don't get to play for 5 hours a day. If you didn't want advice then you shouldn't ask...

What kind of weapons do you want to return in Halo 3? Not to return?
What kinds of new weapons?

 

Still haven't decided yet, the coventant sniper rifle is extremely cool, since you don't have to reload. Dual weilding is sweet, but I still haven't decided which combos I like best. Two brute plasma rilfes are pretty good (no reloading). Still don't know if I like 2 SMG's or a SMG and a magnum. Plasma pistol sux...Which do ya'll like?

 

It would be sweet if they made a human version of the plasma rifle that could actually reload.

 

If you watch the behind the scenes video, they tried to make a flame-thrower, which I think would be *extremely* cool, and the mongoose (Human version of the ghost) looked pretty badass too especially if it had guns on the front of it. Kinda lame they couldn't put them in the game, but maybe in Halo 3. Also I'd like to see a new type of grenade, maybe some kinda flash-grenade that blinds the enemies for a sec. or something.

BUt im not really for shure that it is true,now what would be really cool if they took some of the old maps in halo 1 like Chill out,Damnanation,and maybe even Hangem High and made it so that there downloadable on Xbox live when they or if they allow u to download new maps.

I checked the Halo 2 commercial (twice) and it is 'have' not 'are'.

 

So what do ya'll think? Did they split the game into 2? Or will Halo 3 be for xbox 2? I'm thinking they split it into two games...it was just WAY to long of a wait for the campaign mode to be that short.

I'm sure they will have new maps available eventually that you can d/l off live... are there any other place you can play besides xbox live?

 

In halo 1 on pc they had a flamethrower, not too good, especially now with dual wielding, u would get owned, is there a secret to using the shotty i like do the same thing to them they doint die but when they do it to me i die, they nead to have a m-16 type thing automatic/grenade or something cooler cause they r in the future

 

i dont think that they split halo 2 in half. i agree that the campaing was a little short but i think that halo 2 was more for xbox live than anything else. i personally think that the campaing in halo 2 was just a set up for halo 3

 

I agreee with THE_PHIZZ,except that MAYBE they planned to make it to big cuz that would be really dumb if they just decided to split it and half and relize that it was 2 big,unless they really didnt plan for that.And maybe they did split it in 2 and planned for it cuz it tookk them like,3 1/2,or almost 4 years to make,and they could make a TON more money if they cut some/half of it off to make Halo 3 but they wouldnt make as much if they just realease it 4 months after Halo 2 came out,even thought they already made 100 million in the first day,lol.But if they DID split halo 2 in half,then that explains why u use the arborter so much,like u somtimes use the MC but not as much as I and many others would of,and i think there just saving it for Halo 3 cuz halo 3 is on earth
