Information about upcoming Halo 3

Hello peeps ive heard a something new about halo 3 apparently the last level (THIS MAY BE A SPOILER). You can be all players in halo1 in the missions and the arbiter is actually a special hologram that is used to distarct the humans from stopping the new species ( i do not konow who they are) from taking a new halo in the east of space. and theirs a brother of spartan who takes control of the south defence barrier of the earths space fleat and hes blamed for a massive explosion. sos thats all i heard ill try to update this when i can

 

where are you getting your info from halo90, whilst I believe that is truly a fantastic idea, weve had a lot of crap on this forum, no offence, really.

 

My friend has just called me his friend works at bungie and ites hopefully announced on t.v. at 6th january 2005 it will be announced halo 3 is out on 23rd of january 2005.

it seems like everyone and their brother knows someone at bungie *cough*cough*bull$hit*!

there is NO way halo 3 will come out at the end of january. why would any business release a sequal 3 months after the last one came out? then no one would buy halo 2 anymore, they would wait for halo 3. i would be willing to bet that halo 3 will be one of the last games to be released on the current xbox to drive last minute sales.

use common sense people!

 

I don't think Cortana is betraying the MC, she was just trying to figure out WTF gravemind is (or so I thought). NE way, hopefully we'll know something more at the beginning of next year. I think the MC will cause the ship he's hiched a ride on to crash on earth. This will give time for the Arbiter to kill the gavemind and grab Cortana, and then both of them get to earth as the MC's ship is crashing. Then you see the Arbiter land near the MC with a bunch of his boys, and the MC pulls out a grenade but then hears Cortana's voice. She explains what is going on, and then the game continues....and you get to play as the MC or the Arbiter the rest of the way. I'm not gonna speculate on what happens after that, but I'm assuming a bunch of the brutes escape while the ship is crashing.

cuz if they really did split up halo 2 and decided to make it halo 2.5/3 or what ever...then it wouldnt be a bad idea cuz every one knows whos beat halo 2 that it was a bad ending and that it didnt seem to fit and that there should of been more,like in halo 1 u new that there was gona be a halo 2 and that it ended RIGHT there....but in halo 2 it just kinda stops,u dont get that feeling that the game is over...i think that it might be posable that they release halo 2.5 or 3 or what ever posably in the next 3-10 months...and i bet that xbox games will be playable for xbox 2 or xbox next....just like for PS2 on how u can play the PS1 games on PS2 and how u can do the same with Gameboy advance games ect.ect. .....so if halo what ever is realeased before xbox 2/next then i bet it will be playable for xbox 2/next. & some of u guys were saying it will take Bungie longer to make/modify halo what ever cuz xbox 2 is comin out....all the **** they have to do it change the way the xbox 2 reads the game...like different codes & junk and burn it to the new CD that MS has made for xbox 2 and it wont be hard at all & MS will provide that info......

Alright now im not 100% sure with this but when you beat halo combat evolved you knew there would be a halo2. When there was news about it comin out it was supposed to come out in 2003 then january 2004 then it ended up comin november 2004. Since halo 2 was supposed to come out so soon they realized that it was too big to fit all of that, now this is my theory but while they were making halo 2 they started halo 3. Now they are just putting the finishing touches on it and it should come out in february 9th, but im not completely sure.

hey ya'll. i've been reading this forum for a while so i thought it was time i joined. i like the idea of halo 2.5 or 3 comin out within the next few months and anybody would, but is it really realistic? part of me says yes and part says no. on the special edition disk, they were always talkin bout limited time. maybe the reason that they were so crunched for time is bcuz they were workin on halo 3 also.

if you watch the trailer "halo 2- documentary"...about half way through it talks about miranda strapping a bomb to the MC's back. could this be halo 3? here's the link...u gotta select the documentary one though

******IN RESPONSE TO THE SEQUENCE AT E3********
The reason you don’t see that whole sequence with the MC bombarded by elites with plasma sword was because that whole sequence was made before the game was. If you watch the DVD it will show you. It shows that they made the little preview before they made the actual game and they found they didn’t really need that sequence, although it would have been cool to see.
