Information about upcoming Halo 3

it is not halo 3...during the making of the storyline for halo 2, jason jones was going through a breakup with his girlfriend and because of that, it made him make a scene of betrayal (the scene where a bomb i\s strapped to masters back) but that idea was droppped because it had nothing to do with any other ideas.

I think maybe Cortana had talked w/ the Gravemind in Halo 1 but never told anyone about it, so that's why she knew about the Gravemind in Halo 2, and why she was so casual when talking to it.

Find me if you want to play, I'm usually on at night and on the weekends, but not this weekend.

 

I don't know WTF you all are talking about but cortana is a AI whose mission is to protect humanity.Get it?

lol,that would be funny....but im not so shure that she would betray him...shes a program...but a smart enough program to do anything.....all im worryed about is when they release halo 3/2.5 and if they really did split halo 2 cuz it took them FOREVER to make.....w/e

 

Cortana is one of the most complex AIs in the Halo universe. They are made from people's brains (the structure fo the brain is duplicated) and then choose their form based upon teir task. Cortana comes from the Doctor who created the Spartan program and the Mjolinir Armor. Most AIs are copied from the brains of dead people because it destroys them. The doctor had her brain cloned and her memories and other traits copied to that brain. She is programmed to protect humanity and the MC.

I think she is talking to Gravemind because she is curious about it. (And she has nothing better to do.)

Ok, some of you people need to seriuosly read the books. lol. In "The Fall Of Reach" they explain what happens to AI that contain too much information. Its obvious that when AI learn new things they get smarter. After a while they will get smarter and more cocky and then feel all mighty and powerful. That is how the measure the life expectancy of AI in Halo. I am not sure if what I just said is 100% correct, but its a rough idea of what they do. So it is possible for Cortana to betray John (Spartan 117 a.k.a Master Chief). She may feel all mighty and powerful and might get curious and so yeah. Again I dont know if this is 100% accurate but it seems pretty close.

 

Im back kids! Anywayz, cortonna could be evil cos even the greatest human mind (minds then, I think thats what you said) can be corrupted, so I guess in retrospect it was a massive mistake to use human mind duplicates for A.I's. This may well be put into play as it fits in well with the style (biblical refrence: The corruption of Adam and Eve?). Peace out. Well try.
