Information about upcoming Halo 3

Well you guys its been a plessure but since this forrum is coming down Ill go check out the ps2 forrums if anyone wants to catch me there.good-bye.

 

I've read through these pages for the past half hour and I've come to the following conclusion; Some of you have a very rich fantasy.

First; A guy says his brother works at Bungie who is 'chief art producer'. A very nice function. Especially since it DOES NOT EXIST in videogame developement. Even if it would, why on earth would somebody like that risk his job at a high profile games-design company by leaking information to a relative of him (which will undoubtibly be tracked down by microsoft for ruining sales)? And why would Bungie give information about company strategies to people in functions that do not concern it? Why risk a leak?

Secondly; There was a guy here from the Netherlands who said to be working at 'Halo distribution company' for our country. Incidentally a very good friend of mine owns a own gamestore and has assured me there is no such thing 'halo distribution company'; all games are distributed by their individual publishing agencies and since microsoft is the publisher for Halo 2 (and thus 3 and other sequels since they own intellectual property on these games) all distribution is done directly via Microsoft.
I'm also Dutch and I say to him; "Je lult uit je nek" (you're full of shit)

And thirdly, The so called leaked storyline is nothing more than a collection of levels from halo 1 and 2 with a different story context and a lot of imagination.


Don't get me wrong; there will undoubtibly be a halo3 (halo 1 and 2 were very succesfull and brought millions to bungie and Microsoft, why stop with a big winning formula?) and it may even be released before March 2003 (although highly unlikely). But the speculation on this forum is based on nothing and reminds me of the discussion that broke out around the deadline on 'ilovebees.com' (halo 2 would be released a month or 2 earlier, which did not happen, of course).

I love the halo games and universe created through books and other outlets as much as all of you do, but you base your opinions on nothing but speculation.

I wait for Halo 3 as eagerly as you do, but we will have to wait what microsoft and bungie have in store for us.

these are only perdiction that people want to spread out so stop crushing their hopes. and secondly who cares if any of this is fake were just putting our thoughts down. You know Ryan thats not a bad idea we could continue our chat on a second part. Maybe it should be called "Info about upcoming Halo 3 part 2". I say we keep this up untill feb 9th to see what happens. I would hope to see everyone from this forrum on the next.

Surely, ur an idiot! I agree with ur third pt but the 1st 2, come on. And a cheif producer of designs, not cheif art producer, has alot to do with the game! And the halo distribution company probably is real! If its not how would anyone get the game. I understand microsoft might do their own distributing but they hav so many things goin on they couldnt possibly do all of it.

Iv been through reading all of my Official Xbox Magazine I did my Homework. It clearly states HALO #3 realese date unknown but it says the first game for the XBOX 2 A.K.A. Xbox Next. I will keep you posted i will scan the article by 12/14/04 and who ever needs or wants the article i will sent it......

 

LOL, THIS FORUM IS GOING DOWN. Anyway thous skulls on Legendary are so cool. How many are there in total, does any one know? Why are they in there? Can you get something cool if you find them all(will you get like infinite ammo or cammo?)?

They're *not* going to close down the fourm, that would just be silly for them to. This is probably the biggest forum in afterdawn.

Anyhoo, hope most of you are on XBL, it is really amazing and kickass. The 8 vs. 8 battles are very fun. As for Halo 3 we will just have to wait for Feb. 9th or an article talking about it. Other than that, pretty much anything is speculation.
