insert writeable dics message

Hi,
I have a problem with Nero and really need some advice. I load all the files for a Dual Layer DVD and click either simulate or burn and it spits the disc out. I have checked and it does accept a dual layer DVD in the system set up, however if i click on "my computer" select the disc drive and click properties it shows up as if all my blank DVD's are full i.e. blue circles with 0 bytes written and 0 bytes free space?
Very confused no erroe messages showing etc etc,,,

 

what type of dvd burner do u have(including current firmware rev) and what type of media r u using?

It's a Panasonic DVD-RW DVR K16M in a Vaio VGN C1S

driver version 5.1.2535.0
I can't access the firmware version at the mo.

If it is a K16M then it is a PIONEER K16M

Firmware update

Do you have a Nero log?
What blank media are you using?
