Installed sata harddrive now my IDE DVD drive and HD wont recognize help!

    IF i put this in wrong thread i apologize didnt know where to put it. So if i have my Dvd rom just plugged in it will recognize but not if i plug in both. I dont know what to set the dvd drive and harddrive at. I put one on mastr and one slave yet they wont recognize at all when i do that. please help thx..

    moved to correct forum. are they seen in the bios at all? did you change a setting in the bios?

    NO i didnt touch the bios. they wont recognize at all in the bios.
