installing sound card

    Hi! I have a PC with an "on board" sound card which has NEVER worked properly, so I decided to get a external sound card & now I can't get it to install properly. I have disabled the "on board" in the BIOS. Please HELP. Thanks

    well, lets start off with some more info. So what kind of soundcard did you buy. Can you offer a link to a page with the same soundcard on it, so we can have a look at the exact model, and not a vague name. Whats your actual comptuer specs like.
