    Hi there,
Some time ago I asked your help because my computer had crashed. Especially ddp helped me lot. It turned out my hd had died. Two days ago I bought a new hd and installed it (Maxtor plus 9/80 GB). I tried to install Windows XP but that did not work. Everything went fine but after 60% had been installed it all just stopped. I then tried Windows ME and this was no problem.

(Ddp, can you please help me again???)

Anyone who knows how to solve this problem??

    Kind regards,
    Farrah

Hope you are doing fine. I use XP pro.

I'm not sure if anyone has asked you but have you tried installing win xp again? If so, does it stop in the same exact place everytime (60%)? If it randomly crashes during setup then I'm not sure of the problem. If it always crashes at the same spot then your CD is scratched or smudged in that area or you have a bad memory stick.
