    hi

I obtained a copy of Mars Attacks, and I want to burn it to a DVD. But when I put it in The FilmMachine, it said that the codec it used was Intel H.264. I have never run into this before, and frankly, I'm baffled. I have an LG LDA-730 DVD player, which plays VCD/DVD/CD/DviX/MP3/WMA and Jpeg.

I was just wondering if there was a way I can get it into a codec that I could burn onto a DVD, or am I, for lack of a beter word, S.O.L?

Doubt it was encoded with Intel's encoder. More likely x264. Anyway ffdshow contains a free H.264 decoder. What container though?

Container? Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you mean, unless you mean the type of file, which is AVI
