    So is this AMD versus Intel or how to break the rules by going way off topic and discussing cracked exe's?

    @FIHSNERD,
    Try to stay on topic!!(or at least close to it).
    Torrents/cracks etc are not allowed here.If you need that kind of information look elsewhere I'm sure you will find what your looking for.
    Well with regards to prime 95 theres good news and bad news.First the good news.Started prime @6.30pm last night,went to bed @around 12.30am so 6 hours running checked before I went to bed all is good.Get up this morning @8am the damn alarm clock is flashing 12.00 at me!!!!!
    A F*****G power cut!!!!!!!!! I must admit with the rain and wind we had last night I had thought about turning the computer off anyway just in case but really wanted to see prime @12hours stable.
    Sorry guys,I'm really disappointed.But don't worry hopefully I can report some good news soon.

    geestar20's mom works for Intel here in Phoenix and she's had one of the chips you're referring to in her possession for many months now. We can't get her to give it up!!!

    @peanuts2,
    You might want to change your sig.You don't have DDR2 memory,you have dual channel DDR:)

    The weather has gone from bad to worse its pouring down and windy as hell here!!!
    Just took a photo outside.

    LMAO..
    nice..
    and i am sorry about not staying on topic.. i am ceasing all remnice or however you spell it.. of anything other than intel and amd..
    btw: is the 2.6 the thing that beat the FX62 clocked at 3.0
    i was plainning my next build.. but thats where things get expensive..
    i was going to get the 2 core. but i am having thoughts about this reverse hyperthreading??
    have any of yall herd about it.. ??
    its where they take 2 cores... and they make it 1 virtual core.. so it theory.. the 4x4 platfrom... 4 duel cores = 8 cores made it to 1 core would = an KICK *** of an computer???
    with the financial freedom that is..
    and crappy weather..
    but until you live in florida.. u cant talk.. :)

    Have Fun,
    FIHSNERD

    Edit: Cleaned.

    I know all about weather in florida. Incinerating one minute, drowning the next. Not a very stable climate!

    Reverse HT sounds interesting, but in this day and age, you want at least two cores. 4 is excessive, but maybe making 4 into 2 I could understand.

    sammoris,

    Next time you might send a discrete PM, off of the thread, as these are private. Just a suggestion. I just got done with the some type of thing with Sophocles over at the hounds before I PM'd him and straightened it out. I think it is in the Forum Rules.

    Sincerely,
    theonejrs

    Just for something you might not want to discuss with another member in open forum, on the thread. Otherwise it might appear that AD condones that sort of thing.

    Happy Computering,
