    crowy,

    My dream is to take a ship (not a cruise ship) to Australia. One of those Freighter/Passenger ships. Just to be at sea for that long would blow me away! I dream of seeing Sydney harbor coming into view and getting bigger and bigger, the closer you get. It just sends chills up and down my spine. I sure as hell wouldn't want to do that on one of those floating casinos like the QM II. You would lose so much of the adventure and all the phoney baloney stuffed shirts on board would bore me. There are so many better things in life than that and the dollars would be a lot less too!

    Happy Computering

    True.. i thought about it.. and yes it would be beautifull, but no chills :)
    i did some math, and i can get the 2.4 dc conroe and everything i need after selling my rig, minus the h.d. and with the 6200... for around 700.00.. 1 gig of 6400 hundred ram PQI soprano case rosewell power supply.. ASUS motherboard.. and a w.d hard drive.. which i will put into my old system..

    YEAH, rocking all da way, i dont see the need in spending 200.00 plus for a 2.67.. sorry... i am still woried that AMD AM2 will come back and bite me in the ass with the reverse hyperthreading.. awsome idea. i will give amd that..

    @theonejrs,
    I crossed the harbour bridge with my parents when I was 10 years old.We went too see some friends just North East of Sydney.(4 day drive from Western Australia where we live.)I can still remember it vaguely.Sydney is a rat race,just to busy for me I'm afraid!!Where I'm living is a population of 9500 people and that's just how I like it!!
    P.S. Here's a link to where I live!

    @FIHSNERD,
    I think AMD aren't telling us everything.I'm sure they have a few surprises in store for us very soon.

    Hmm, I know about that sort of a problem! LOL love the user error message!

    I don't think AM2 will bite you in the backside fihsnerd, but AM3 will.

    Nice place, crowy, where I live is so much more nondescript!

    Wow, interesting. Apparently (I don't know this for cert.) that Chatham is the origin of the expression "Chav" which we now use to describe the violent and small-brained youths that plague the country committing such crimes...

    AM3 when i sthat going to be released 2008-9? cause i will build another one then :) and then intel is going to have Conroe 2.. super efficeient high speed better than AMD "supposably" on it... lol..

    but if AMD can build up their market and stock "Dell" then they might even out with intel's stock. because i can se this happening the next time the 2 brutes decide to go at it. but diversity is always nice. I have been running a 2.4 completely stable. i have sandra Lite 2005.. but i cant decode the freaking comparison graph.. i still dont know how to post it here.. :(

    Never quite figured that out.

    Thanx,
    FIHSNERD

    I heard AM3 could be as early as 2007, hence why I've been voting for it and against AM2. RHT and 65nm sound AM3, but also sound quite close...

    Meh, i was thinking 45nm for the AM3's AMD has to keep up with ho w small intel is making them.. considering intel has a plant capable of the 45 and i thingk even the 35 if i am not mistaken.

    And? Don't forget Until Conroe comes out, AMD are beating what intel have made, refined and changed in 65nm, with they're 90nm efforts. If AMD move to 65 and Intel to 45, so what? I can't see the situation changing much yet!
