Easily done, this thread can move fast. When I got back from a week's holiday, on this forum and DVD hounds, a collective of about 200 messages had been posted!

Actually whenever I looked at the newegg site, the Hiper has ALWAYS been $99.99 with $11ish shipping. I've never seen it any different.
Technically you will still have the same amount of 'lag' as before, just a better overall frame rate. Any sudden random pauses (which is what is meant by lag) will still occur.

Speaking of purchases. Did you all see the price on the A64 3700+ Sandiego? IT'S 105 FREAKING DOLLARS! WOW!

Last month it was about $250. Talk about a price drop. Same goes with all the single cores.

    3000+ - $75
    3200+ - $85
    3500+ - $95
    3700+ - $105
    3800+ - $104-$114
    4000+ - $145

I'm probably gonna score a 3700+ and OC it for an alternate budget rig. Out with the Sempy and in with the Sandiego!!! It's an exciting and important time for budget buyers and OC enthusiasts alike.

If you were holding off on buying a single core rig now is the time!

The price drops are amazing, indeed £55 for a 3700+ now I think, but the dual core drops have been just as good!

    X2 3800+: £190 to £110
    X2 4200+: £230 to £140
    X2 4600+: £400 to £170 (!!!)
    X2 5000+: £550 to £220 (!!!)
    FX-62: £750 to £550

LMFAO... i thought amd was not dropping the price of the 1mg cores..
btw: my order is in california and has already shipped. :)
it was like a morning thing or somthing dude, but it was 20.00off and then free shipping.. so i was like heck YES.. then it rose 20.00 so i talked to costomer service and she lowered it 15 instead of the 20... so i was still more than pleased... and with this new ps, do you think i could get better overclocks? and i will have like 50 or so after everything is said and done with, should i wait and get the duel'y 3800?

    Thanks to everyone here :)

I'm not sure a new PSU will help with OCs much unless you're being seriously restricted, it just means that when you are running OCed there's less chance of a boom.

@estuansis- the socket 754 amd athlon 3300+ was on sale at tigerdirect for 35 dollars!!! i felt so stupid becuase i had to replace my 2800+ because the pins were somehow bent. i replaced it with another 2800 for 80 dollars! i could have got a better cpu for 50 dollars less. my rant is done.

It happens to us all. My new PC is only 33 days old, and has a £230 X2 4200+ in it. It's now £140. Said PC also contains a £327 X1900XT, which can now be had for £240.

    He_Man,

Bunny can borrow my Flying Saucer. That should help with his plans for World Domination. It would certainly get him to the liqour store in a hurry! LOL

The Hyper PSU is $89.00 with $7.00 shipping at this place:

    http://www.ipcqueen.com/Hiper-Power-Supply_1788.html

I ordered from there and had it the next day without the next day postage! (S. CA to NV) They called me to tell me it was shipped.

I will shop from there again!
