Lol I was nearly banned for having that opinion, and I didn't say it in anywhere near as loud a manner as that. They're far from crap, but you rarely see above 50/60% performance increase for your doubling of cost.

Oh the Big Typhoon? Yeah it's huge, I often wonder to what extent it's necessary.

    Like a 6.6 litre V-8 in a VW Bug...overkill yet effective!

Or any 6.6 litre V8 full stop. I note the 450hp of the Audi RS6 which is a 4.2. 450hp is PLENTY, for any car. Some Lorry tractor units don't have 450hp. (yes more torque, but the point remains)

Hi Sam,I had an old Pontiac Trans-Am with a 6.6 it was a real dog with all the anti-pollution devices attached...oops! Off topic! As for the Big Typhoon...I'm pretty sure Crowey will put it to the test!

I second that, you WILL regret it.
Also, don't pick on freshmen. You were one once. Life isn't about getting your own back on different people out of spite. Life is about getting your own back on the same people that did it to you.

How warm is your room? I know that's idle and stock, but that is an outrageously low idle temperature, I think I make the low to mid thirties.

    crowy,
Do you live in a meat locker? That's 58F! 22C would be a lot more comfortable and your electric bill would go way down! True, it will help keep your CPU from going down but not enough to matter if there is a problem with the computer and the CPU overheats. I do all my testing and running in a 22C room. Christ, 13C I would need a warm coat!

    Happy Computering,
    theone
