I am using RipIt4Me along with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to back up my DVD's. My Nero version is 6.6.0.18. My Burner is a Pioneer DVR-SK12D. All of the ripping process goes without error, but just recently I have been having problems. I used Philips DVD-R and just recently got some new Philips DVD+R with a different design on the front, but same brand. Here is my burn log. Thank you in advance for your help. It is much appreciated. P.S. I don't know if I have mentioned this, but I have burned back-ups before that work fine. I've tried using the old and new discs and have burnt at least one working dis from each.
ASPI layer is corrupted, try this, version 4.71 from here - http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm DMA needs to be on, heres a guide to turn back on http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 It is recommended to have a minimum of 512 mb RAM for burning DVs , I suggest you add a further 256mb These are horrible discs, try Verbatim or Sony (made in japan) You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
Thanks a lot for your post. That addressed my problems well. Now I will have to see if all goes well with the burn. Unfortunately, I think I might have installed the ASPI thing wrong, but I don't know. I updated it and then saw the the read me. Again, we will have to see how it goes and I'm sure you'll hear from me if something goes wrong...joy.
