Also, realize that what is advertised and what you get are TWO TOTALLY different things. However, 14kb/s is VERY slow. That I agree on. Go to http://www.dslreports.com/tools and scroll down to the Speed Tests and the Tweak Test. The problem though is that you are in Israel and the test servers are in the US. Nevertheless, give it a try and see what kind of information you can get from it. They may recommend you download the DR TCP tweak tool from their site. Hope this helps.
is there different packages for internet speed like lite(low), ultra lite(medium) & high speed. i have ultra lite & do about 33kbs a sec whereas a friend has lite & does 12kbs a sec
I had that problem before too. I had no clue what was wrong and all i did was try a tweak program from somewhere(i forget), and then it worked. So a setting was wrong.

how old is the pc ? the reason i ask is because usb 2.0 just came out in the last couple of years and if you dont have usb 2.0 you likely have usb 1.1 which is quite slow compared to usb 2.0 . if you have usb 1.1 you can purchase a usb 2.0 pci card to correct this problem . hope this helps .
