Internet Explorer losing connection but Azureus still downloads

Hey all i recently have been having problems with my internet connection and windows. My Internet explorer(Internet Explorer 7 v7.0.5730) losing internet connection along with every program apart from Azureus(v2.5.0.0). This still downloads very fast even when i go on to Internet explorer and says no connection. I have a wireless adaptor(D-Link AirPlus G DWL-G122 Wireless) that connects to my D-Link DSL-G604T router. My Windows version is XP Pro SP2
Intel Pentium R D 3.4ghz, 1gig RAM, 2x 160gig(samsung). Please help this is getting very frustrating.

Do you have problems when Azureus is not running? Azureus Is a very hungry resource hog.

 

No it doesn't do it when azureus isn't running, but tried bitcomet and it still did the same thing. Re-installed windows today thinking it may be that, but it still does it.
