    some one says zone alarm will do this ??????

    or do i check this>>>>>>>>Hide my IP address when applicable
    which one should i check and will this work????????

    I meant that you should have read that site's info on ip adresses and such... if your really that desperate, check out Tor : http://tor.eff.org/

    Lol why do you want to "hide" your up.. if you are doing this cos of some lame hacking learning process you may be endevoring on.. then quit now and crawl into a hole.. If not. Then you could just use an annoymous proxy ;)

    heh i know your not a hacker. But if you do want to hide your ip, use an annoymous proxy, search google for one. if you want annoymous scanning software http://insecure.org

    ok this tor thing which do i chose for windows ?????

    when i got to this site http://www.stayinvisible.com/index.pl/home

    i want it not to reconize my ip
    this way i will get less junk also

    also this changing proxy stuff seems to be a pain
    any easy steps would be nice

    there are four options 1 .no proxy 2. socks v4 3 .socks v5 4 .http. if i choose one will it help?????/ and it also asks for say a proxy number and port ?????????

    never heard of it before is it free and will it help

    It's free, and it will get most of the comporate ip adresses, but you need to have a firewall that is compatible (McAfee and zonealarm have issues)

    Just type peerguardian in google, it will find it immediately

    i tried chaNgeing to a proxy and it wont even let me reply on this site ??????? should i try another ???????

    this is what it tells me if i chose to use it and try to reply to any of my threads

    i dont no 2 much about this hiden IP, but if its hiden, can bridgers on xbox live/Halo 2 kick u out of games? How will they kick u out if they cant see your IP? or should it be a better idea just 2 get an annoymous proxy?

    if you get annoymous proxy they wont be able to see your ip
