    Hi all,

In iTunes, I have set the 'Volume Adjustment' bar for most of my songs to the maximum setting (I like my music loud!)

I was wondering if playing these songs on iPod uses more battery power than a 'normal' volume adjustment setting, therefore shortening battery life?

    Many thanks for any input.

u cant get volume without power, therefore the louder u listen the less batery power u have. it helps a bit (not that much) if u get better headphones, (ipod headphones r $hit)

ipod headphones r bad for many reasons, 3 of the most important r...:
-bad quality (after 3/4 volume they start crackling)
-to expensive (50 bux a pair)
-ur more likely to get jumped if u wear those

I agree the apple headphones really suck. I bought the sony ear buds which work great.
