Hi, seen as though i lost my iriver e10, which i transfered my music via dragging and dropping folders using windows.

Is there anyway to do this with the new ipod nano ? I have jsut ordered one.

I would like it to go from screen to screen with

    Maximes - Ministry of bounce - September - cd1 - tracks
    cd2 - tracks
    cd3 - tracks

    December - cd1 - tracks
    cd2 - tracks
    cd3 - tracks

    - National Anthems - July - cd1 - tracks
    cd2 - tracks
    cd3 - tracks

    January - cd1 - tracks
    cd2 - tracks
    cd3 - tracks

You can clearly see how i want it to be set out. In Ministry of boucne there is 8 different albums, each with 4 cds, same with national anthems and more.
How would i go about setting it out like this ?

You will have to make separate playlists in iTunes for each section you need.

So make a playlist for Ministry of bounce and then all the albums inside that ?
Make a playlist for National Anthems and all the albums in that ?
    And so on ?

Yes, you can organize them as you want with the playlist option in iTunes.

In itunes i do not understand how do create a playlist how i want to.
I want a section that contains Ministry of Bounce. After clicking ministry of bounce, it will show 8 different albums to chose from. After choosing a month it will then show cd1, cd2, cd3, cd4. Then after clicking a cd it will show you all the tracks for that cd.

You can go to File --> New Folder, put whatever you need to in there, then inside the folder, create a new playlist. This is the only 2 things you can do without creating multiple playlists.

Just confirm that this is how i want it.
    So it goes
    Maximes to a screen showing

ministry of bounce, national anthems, floorfillers, united nations.

If you click on one of those 4, it will show a screen showing all the various albums under that catagory for example
    july 23rd 06
    september 22nd 06
    january 12th 07

Then after clicking on an album it will show cd1, cd2, cd3, cd4.

After clicking on a cd it will show all of the tracks.

I see what you mean, but as far as I know, there is no way to do this in iTunes. The only way that I know of is the way that I mentioned, which would only contain a playlist in a folder then the tracks in the playlist.
