Press [bold]PrtSc[/bold] to make a screenshot (possibly located on the right-hand side of your keyboard above "Insert"). Then open MSPaint (or whatever your favourite image editing proggy is, and paste it in. There, you can crop/add text etc. to explain things more clearly
yes but to get specific things like if i've minimized itunes but i only want to take a screen shot of itunes and not of the rest how do i do it?
Take a screen shot and go into MS Paint, click the square key and put the square around what you want. Cut that image, and then paste it into a new window of MS Paint. Save it and you're on your way.
