you are using 1.2 firmware and/or 1.2 iPodWizard?

Im using 1.2 for both. Firmware and Wizard.

 

mmm. i'm confused. i don't see any reason as to why it shouldn't work

 

I kno its really annoying cause i really want a new theme lol. Than the plain old orignal one.

 

don't know why this didn't come to my attention (as its the problem i have)... by any chance do you have a 5.5g iPod? (the second gen iPod video)

coz if you do u need 2 wait for a 1.3 or 2 iPodWizard

 

Im not sure how do you check i know its the 30GB white Ipod Video and i have the 1.2 Firmware that is about all i know as far as what gen it is. As i have said before i am new to all this suff and what not so. Bare with me here lol and i do thank you for all your time and help.

 

when did you buy it?

and did you get the old or new iPod earphones with it?

yeah, you defo. don't have a 5.5g...

Lethal B, I have everything downloaded except the iHack. I wish to not have to restore my ipod. When I click on thte link, it gives me an error. Is there a way I can do a Google search for the iHack?

 

dude, i think you should rephrase that, coz the reply so far is "yes. go to google and type in iHack"

the errors, i think, are because its gone.

ok so i do everything this guide says, but when i press the load all button on ipodwizard, nothing happens when i open a folder

 

what iPod are you using? if its a 5.5G (video that came with the new earphones), you need to get the beta iPod wizard 1.3 or something... okay i cant find the link, but its on ipodwizard.net somewhere.
then all you do it grab a 1.2 theme and get the converter for 1.2 5G to 12 5.5G then load it directly to the iPod.

 

yes i do have a 5.5g ipod video, and i cannot find any 1.3 beta. the newest one is 1.2c beta. i have that but icannot get pictures to load, only fonts

god... i cant wait till you can change the font on 5.5G ipods... then my 'pod will be pimped out.

i have changed all, well most, of the strings and ive put about 3 themes on since monday...

Try there for a list of old iPod firmwares. I'm pretty certain the older firmware will work on the 5.5, I don't think any of the hardware changed. You will lose the ability to change how bright you want your back light to be though, as well as gapless playback.
