I was wondering if anyone knows: Does this dock have to be usb powered to connect ipod to home stereo? Can it be used with only the audio out?
You can put the normal AC charger in the back of it to charge it so you don't need to use the USB. And no, it doesn't have to be plugged into the computer or the wall to play it on your home stereo. And it has a standard headphone jack in the back of it for your audio cord.
