Hi all ! I have just taken delivery of my new Ipod Video ( very excited ) I have updated from 2nd generation Ipod. My question is..... Will my current songs/album's transfer onto my new Ipod with the album art? Or will i have to do it manually? If it needs to be done manually, can anyone point me in the right direction ? Cheers in advance !
As far as I know the picture and even if you have put in Lyrics into the song they are part of the actual file and should transfer when you put it on the new iPod.
If your songs already have album art, as the ones from the iTunes Music Store do, they will be copied and displayed automatically, as long as you have the "Display Album Art" checked in the iPod settings in iTunes. As for any songs you have that don't yet have album art, you can always do it manually, and Amazon.com is a great place to find album art.
