See you still love this section, still generates good traffic for the Admin though. "service stealing" is not a light word and what is a "proper" forum, i.e. an open area for discussion.

I also moderate on other forums but I do not comment on the open forum, unless it is to adhere with forum rules. The DVB forum as far as I am aware is compliant as per the recent changes and yes "code beggars" as you call them are still abound, but generalisation in regards to "most" as you say is not true and the majority of posts are quite insightful.

I have seen the Coolsat guys go but I understood that. But I do think the DVB forum is still a good knowledge base for Afterdawn. With the latest rule change most if not every member here that have been here for a while have adhered and even directed new people to the fact that code requests are no longer allowed. We cannot moderate all we can do is abide by rules which we do.

'fraid my frustration gets the better of me in certain forums, but i know some of you do provide good and frequent help to those that need it. If ever we rid ourselves of the code beggars i'll be a happier bunny.

Hard to do believe me I have tried it, you will end up with the ban stick for life, thats the problem with peoples internet mentality. People seek and what to find things in their first post but never think or actually using the best internet tool, the search bar.
