    HELP,PLEASE !!! DO I NEED A DAB AERIAL TO RECEIVE SURROUND SOUND FROM A FREEVIEW BOX.SEE MY OTHER MESSAGE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

    No. Your Freeview box will decode the sound that streams in digitally. If the program is recoreded in surround sound, then as long as you have a surround sound decoder that will accept it, it will work fine.
