Is a PATA/100 hd compatible with the xbox?

    an ebay seller shipped me a 300 gig hd with a pata/100 interface rather than one with an ide interface by mistake. Is it still good or will I have to send it back?

    This came up somewhere else... I don't know about this PATA crap, but alledgedly it's an IDE drive. If the drive looks like the original Xbox drive, then it should be fine...
