I have recently purchased a new eurovox max 2008 but i would like to be sure that its a genuine one before a flash it. I have looked through some of the threads but can't seem to find definitive answer. Anybodys help would be greatly appreciated. The reason i ask is the front of the box does not look like the one on the box. The "maxV" is not on the box, it says digital reciever. In anticipation of your help thank you.
dosn't matter which it is as there is no clone firnware for eurovox max v 2008,so you'll have to flash it with the latest firmware and wait and see.
The reason i ask is i bought it off ebay and im still covered by paypal. So if it is a clone then you can bet your ass i wont want to be paying for it. Thanks i wouldnt want to brick it by flashing it
good man,think now you'd be better off buying the new eurovox pvr,to be on the safe side as as far as i know it's not been cloned yet.
New Eurovox coming out next week Karl, cut down version of the Max V. So cheaper again. As you can see its been delayed, but next launch date is 28/08/08. Gives an option to those who like the Eurovox without having to go for a single tuner PVR
